Format:
League play starts Sunday, January 27, and all games will take place in the multi-purpose gyms inside the Student Recreation Center. League play consists of 4 regular season games followed by a single elimination playoff for those that qualify. At least one member of every qualifying team (doesn’t need to be the captain) must attend the playoff meeting to be eligible for playoffs. Playoff meeting dates will be set and posted during the final week of the regular season.

General Information:
The General Meeting for team managers will take place January 10, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be in room 3015 of the SRC. League games will be played from 12:00pm – 9:00pm on Sundays and from 6:00pm to 10:00pm Monday through Thursday .
Divisions are open to WMU Students, Faculty/Staff, Affiliate members of the SRC, Alumni and Spouses.
Assumption of Risk Statement:
University Recreation Programs and Facilities and its staff assume no responsibility for injuries received by a participant during participation or involvement in any departmentally sponsored program or service. Participation is on a voluntary basis and participants are recommended to carry appropriate medical insurance.
Whenever a participant is injured, including those who are bleeding, they will be removed from competition immediately. Injured participants should notify the Intramural Sports Site Manager in a prompt manner so that proper attention and procedures can be followed.
Schedule Availability:
Schedules will be available by the Intramural Office and on the web at www.src.wmich.edu (select IM Sports, HOME) by 3:00 PM on Friday, January 25th.
The season begins Sunday, January 27th. There will be no Intramural games on Sunday, February 3rd due to the Super Bowl. These games will be rescheduled.
Free Agents: Individuals who would like to participate in a team activity but have not found a team to play with are encouraged to come to the General Meeting in order to obtain assistance and placement on a team
No player is allowed to play without a valid picture identification. Combinations of a valid picture ID and documentation, which proves enrollment, SRC membership or university employment status is acceptable. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.
A player may play on multiple teams during the season, but we will not re-schedule games due to conflicts. Players must decide what team they will play for prior to game time. All player decisions are final.
Teams may purchase an unlimited number of SUB SLIPS from the SRC Service Desk.
SUB SLIPS are $5.00 and are NON-REFUNDABLE. Information may be completed at the time of purchase or with the Intramural Site Manager prior to game time. Once a player has subbed twice they will be added to the roster.
Forfeits: If a team has 1 forfeit, they may be removed from the league.
