Dues

Dues

$350.00/semester

Where Does My Money Go?

Each Chapter or Colony of Delta Chi has the power to set its own dues to pay for its operations. A full dues breakdown can be provided by the “A” (President) or Recruitment Chairman. Included in those dues are bills that each Chapter or Colony pays to the general Fraternity. These dues go toward a wide range of things.

  • Associate Member Dues: Every new member of Delta Chi pays a one-time fee at the beginning of his affiliation with the fraternity.
  • Enrollment/Initiation Dues: Prior to initiation into active membership, each Delta Chi pays a one-time fee that enrolls him as a lifetime member.
  • Membership Dues: Paid each term per active member. The funds contributed to through membership are returned to members through Leadership Consultant visits, International Conventions, written and electronic programming materials, a resource website, access to professional-quality supplies, and the operation and maintenance of an international headquarters office, just to name a few. It is a full-circle organization that is supported by the continued success of its individual chapters and colonies.
  • Risk Management Assessment: The chapter or colony pays per member each fall term. This insurance covers a variety of activities and is extended to associate members in the fall and spring semesters but is not designed to supplement personal health or renter’s insurance.

General Liability Insurance: The coverage is for bodily injury and property damage. However, it also protects against claims arising out of libel, slander, false arrest, invasion of privacy, eviction from the premises, consumption of food and beverages and incidental malpractice.

Member Accident Protection Program: The program is intended to complement the health insurance program of every undergraduate member of the fraternity for accidents incurred during the undergraduate term. Coverage is for injuries incurred on fraternity premises or during fraternity events. The Fraternity pays the premium for this program.

  • Delta Chi International Convention
The Delta Chi Convention is our biennial celebration of brotherhood. The gathering of student and alumni members, families, support advisors, and friends of Delta Chi is unmatched. It includes legislative sessions where changes to Delta Chi Law, the Ritual and dues are all debated. There are awards presentations, leadership programming, personal and professional development and a whole lot more.
  • Regional Leadership Conferences (RLC)
The Regional Leadership Conference is designed to develop leadership skills, to help attendees realize that Delta Chi is more than their own chapter/colony, and to provide Delta Chi men within the Region the opportunity to share ideas, achievements and experiences with other Delta Chi chapters, officers, Regents, alumni, advisors and Fraternity staff. Each RLC is hosted by a chapter or colony within that region and is where the region’s representative to the Fraternity, or Regent, is elected.
  • Delta Chi Leadership College (DCLC)- Iowa City, IA
The three-day program includes a variety of leadership and educational programming, brotherhood activities and tours of the Fraternity’s International Headquarters.
The College provides an opportunity for personal development for student and alumni members through the values of Delta Chi and an opportunity to share in the fraternal experience with brothers from across North America, while learning more about yourself, your brothers and your Fraternity.
  • Delta Chi “A”s’Academy– St. Meinrad Indiana
This is a new addition to Delta Chi’s Leadership Training opportunities! All “A”s (Presidents) from more than 120 chapters and colonies come together for our leadership and management development academy. The curriculum contains work on delegation, communication, confrontation, motivation, and representation as the five core competencies for our fraternity leaders. The Fraternity covers all costs for “A”s to attend.
